Edmonton Hypnotherapy CEO Mindset Daily Newsletter-54
subconscious mind review

In the last email, (review email 53) and in other emails, I have spoken about the value of asking questions. To be the CEO of our lives we need to gauge the outcomes of our decisions and actions.

I have encouraged you to look at an activity that you complete regularly, and begin to question whether you are making assumptions about the value of that activity.

Why is this important?

Remember that much of how we think, feel, and behave has become automated. While paths of least resistance (cow paths) naturally require less energy, they can take valuable time.

The time we spend robotically following through on past decisions diminishes the time available for new updated, consciously, and freely chosen ways of being.

  • Some past decisions were made at a time of vulnerability.
  • Some past decisions were made to provide a sense of immediate comfort.
  • Some past decisions were made to appease others.
  • All past decisions were made to meet a need.

Remember that when we transform a decision into repetitive action we are training the internal robot to maintain a way of being. Many of our ways of being are not consistent with our potential. Continuing to play out old decisions that do not serve us interferes with closing the GAP.

Again, I encourage you to become more aware about the daily activities you engage in. Look for evidence of those ways of being that have become mindless or automated.

Are they providing leverage for where you want to be in life?
