1. How can a custom toolbox help me?
- The identity is housed in the subconscious mind.
- We will never out perform our identity.
- The subconscious mind must be re-educated.
The stubborn subconscious mind is not easily swayed to accept new paths of least resistance. It prefers the status quo and makes no judgement as to whether current ways of being are in our best interest. Our minds do not work logically, we must learn to influence and guide it towards healthier programs. Creating and cementing new ways of being requires a commitment to re-educating the subconscious mind and developing new neuro-associations.
Each time you access your toolbox the learning becomes deeper. For lasting change, the subconscious mind must fully accept and absorb new information. The toolbox is designed to meet the learning needs of the subconscious mind. The toolbox offers individuals the opportunity to revisit self-discovery, interventions, tools and strategies for a long as needed, without incurring additional costs.
2. Am I a candidate for this work?
This work is solution focused, based on neuro linguistic conditioning principles, executive coaching and hypnosis. This work assumes that:
- challenges are learned way of being
- challenges are an experience not a true identity.
- that until we become the CEO of our lives we will be at the mercy of past programming and current circumstances (triggers and associations).
This work appeals to a very specific individual. Candidates for this work believe:
- a committed quick start builds momentum
- that ultimately, with support, they will be the source of change
- that with new tools and strategies change is possible
- that creating lasting change requires putting skin in the game
Clients intuitively know that their current circumstances are not aligned with their potential. Living a unsatisfying is not seen as an expression of their true self. Thus, ideal candidates are keenly interested in personal development and care deeply about protecting and caring for the future self.
Clients must be comfortable with accessing a private password protected toolbox page which is available 24/7. Clients must have the ability (or willingness to accept support/tutoring) to complete/review assessments online, download custom recordings, field assignments, access feedback forms and be available for telephone debriefs.
3. How is my customized toolbox developed?
Clients who contract for services receive their customized toolbox within 2 weeks after completion of three steps. An hourly rate of $150 is applied to the following:
A comprehensive assessment is offered via a range of online psychometric instruments and custom interviews.
Step 2-Interim work
Clients are asked to complete portions of a workbook and begin accessing the proprietary model online at no additional cost.
Step 3-Toolbox Completion
Additional time is spent in consultation, with the emphasis on recommendations for the toolbox. Completion of toolboxes ranges in terms of contracted hours and is dependent on the level of service required (number of recordings, assignments, additional consultations, crisis access). This step requires up to 2 weeks depending on the content negotiated. During this time clients continue to access the proprietary model and other support as per the agreement.
4. Will my service be covered by insurance?
Hypnosis is a modality that is not covered in Canada. However, most insurance companies do accept an RSW (registered social worker) receipt. Please review your policy. RSW receipts can often be used as a tax expense. Please discuss with your accountant.
5. What is the philosophy of practice?
We are each born with unique, innate tendencies (original potential).
Throughout life we are exposed to negative external environments or circumstances (social programming).
There is a dynamic interplay between these two forces which creates a chaotic state of vulnerability.
During these periods of vulnerability, the subconscious mind accepts “realities” that are not congruent with our capacity to create a satisfying life.
Thoughts, feelings and behaviors (ways of being) develop a neurological reality over time (path of least resistance).
These ways of being become hard-wired, are easily triggered, and have a multitude of associations and anchors.
However, when we begin to understand how the subconscious mind operates and make a decision to become the CEO of our lives, we can incrementally cease being at the mercy of past events or current circumstances and begin closing the GAP between where we are and where we want to be in life.
Becoming the CEO of our lives means that we consciously, deliberately choose to develop new subconscious programs.
The thrust of this work is to support the programming of new healthy, freely chosen paths of least resistance.
While present concerns demand our attention, the goal is to protect and care for the future self.
